1. Yup…Above that’s me. A photo my hubster took of me in Colorado. Unfortunately our car was having beserks, but as we pulled over and waited out our overheating I thought we might take advantage of the time surrounded by mountains. So that’s what we did. As I wandered around at the foot of the mountain taking photos of the beauty that surrounded me I completely forgot about the possiblity of our car not making it up the mountain. I was lost in worship to the Creator of the beautiful things around me. As you can see, it put a smile on my face (and joy in my heart).

    I guess that moment (in retrospect, of course) kind of represents what I am doing with photography. Taking time out from the journey I thought I was on, to slow down and find friendship with God.

    A camera is a great tool. It can be used for many things. In this case it became a blessing to us in a time that could have been seen as a curse. As we travel on this journey and adventure called life I am thankful to have the tools that help me see God’s beauty and His love….
